Here is a pair of vintage wrought iron dachshund andirons designed by Edouard Schenck in the early 1950s. Edouard Schenck was a French andiron maker who designed zoomorphic pieces as andirons. The quality of his work is actually unmatched when it comes to andirons design. These form a really cute duo of iron fire dogs, with a very nice patina. They have been fully cleaned and restored, and are found in a great vintage condition. The size is for one andiron.
