Maija Liisa Komulainen for RAAK set of 4 wall lights Fuga 1960
These beautiful Fuga wall lamps were designed at the end of the 1950s by the Finnish architect Maija Liisa Komulainen for RAAK Amsterdam. Each wall light is made of three tubes, designed as organ pipes, made out of aluminium, copper plated on the outside, and white enamelled on the inside, attached together by a metal wall mount. These four wall lamps are the largest Fuga ones, each tube with two porcelain sockets with E26/E27 bulbs. These sconces are iconic RAAK pieces, testimony of the Space Age era, highly decorative, yet still feeling modern today. These 4 exemples are late 1960s models, they have been restored, electrified, and are in great condition. A rare find as a full set of four.
