This beautiful French Maison Baguès coffee side table was created in the early 1950s with solid foliage shaped gilded bronze structure and dark grey mirror tops. The table is composed of three parts that can separate and be used according to size and application as needed. The piece is made of solid bronze, delicately cast in the form of pruned twigs foliage, with the whole frame and feed fully gilt. It will be perfect as a side table, or a small salon coffee table. The bronze foliage feet and structure details provide an imaginative base for the piece. This side table is typical of the Chinese inspired work of Maison Baguès in the 1950s and 1960s, and offers a timeless, sophisticated look, with plenty of amazing details. The gilt bronze structure has been clean, and has a beautiful patina, while the dark grey mirror tops are brand new. A very rare find, found in an amazing vintage condition.
