Renowned Danish designer Ole Wanscher is credited for being influential during the height of the acclaimed Scandinavian design movement that took place during the mid-century. His FD109 armchairs, designed during the 1960’s for respected Danish manufacturing firm France & Son/France & Daverkosen, are a much sought-after (and rare) vintage model today; their simple and comfortable lines are emblematic of the best of Scandi design. The structure of the chairs is made of sleek, superior-quality teak wood, and the dark blue wool fabric is original. The color scheme is at once professional and homey, ideal for a variety of contemporary interiors. The pair is found in very good vintage condition.
