This set of twelve dining chairs, crafted from stainless steel, was designed by French designer Paul Legeard in the early 1970s. The geometric structure, composed of curved steel blades, supports the seat and backrest, both reupholstered with a beige bouclé wool fabric from Dedar. Architectural lines define Legeard work, and these rare stainless steel chairs are clearly a strong statement of his modernist influence, balanced with the elegant character of the seating parts. Very rare to find, fully restored and reupholstered, these chairs are very special.

Paul Legeard (1901 - 1991) was a French furniture designer. He launched his career in the 1930s at Baccarat, a landmark in French glassmaking. Influenced by modernist principles and the Art Deco movement, his style epitomized discreet sophistication. Legeard's innovative creations earned him prestigious awards, including the Grand Prix of the Milan Triennale in 1954.
