The sculptural quality of this Heron floor lamp is typical of French designer René Broissand. The piece, made out of bronze, has been carefully polished, sits on a brown smoked solid lucite base. Signed and numbered 61. Certain to imbue your contemporary space with a touch of extravagance, this floor lamp feels decidedly of the Hollywood Regency ilk. Presented here with a small lampshade, it can also be displayed with a higher round one on demand. It’s been newly rewired, with a bronze colored wire attached to the body, to remain unseen. Dimensions without lampshade are Height 66 inches and square base 11.8 x 11.8 inches. Fully cleaned, and found in an amazing condition. A rare piece of art from the 1970s, of which the production of 200 to 300 pieces has remained very confidential.
