Vittorio Zecchin Murano Glass Chandelier from early 1930
Sold out
This unique Art Deco chandelier was probably produced by Venini, and designed by Vittorio Zecchin in the early 1930s. This very rare piece of hand blown and worked Murano glass, composed of sandblasted straw-yellow glass cups with transparent amber borders. The technique in which the glass is executed is known and attributed to be by Venini and the models designed by the Master glass blower Vittorio Zecchin. To place this chandelier in your home, in a corridor, above a dining table, or right in your primary entryway, would be to bring the enlightened, centuries old appreciation for hand blown glass craftsmanship into your contemporary day to day world. The chandelier has been fully cleaned, newly electrified, and is found in an amazing condition. There are no breaks nor cracks in the glass. It works with three e27 bulbs.
